Plastic Gage and Tooling was founded in 1998; PG&T started as a department within a larger company in the 1950’s. Our employees have over 70 years combined experience in building gages. We have built a variety of gages for Visteon Corporation, Chrysler Corporation, and other glass manufacturers. Our gage types include prototypes, master models, checking gages, weld assembly fixtures, facsimile of glass, breaker boxes and lab fixtures, high-temp press molds, and various of assembly checking gages. An assortment of materials is used in making our gages including: high-temp plastics, room-temp plastics, fixture board (foam, fixture plank, red board, and others), wood (laminates, pine, mahogany and others), carbon-fiber (graphite) materials, and combinations thereof. PG&T has built a variety of custom part holders for those awkward shaped parts.
